I am a WTC customer and I would like to suggest that WTC considers getting a contract with Sling to provide these:

Currently I use 5 remotes to control my whole setup and would like to simplify things and be the envy of the rest of my family who are on Cox.
Have to admit, I love Digsby too! Another nice feature, (if you didn't already mention it Jim,) is that you can combine all your same contacts that use different IMs. For instance Joe Smith has a Google, Yahoo, and Hotmail account -- they can all be put together under one name! Digsby also has a nice notifier when you get a new email, instant message, or Facebook/Twitter feed.
Affixa is pretty slick for anyone that really wants to attach files to a webmail. Makes life simple(r) -- very cool!
That was an interesting read regarding the predictions. Wish all the antivirus companies would give updates as detailed.
I must admit though, it's been years since I've used McAfee/Symantec because of either no security reassurance or over bloated software performance. Personally, I use Avira -- and I like it.
The history of technology has always fascinated me. And to think, I've grown up with all these amazing changes, which makes me feel proud and a bit old at the same time. :D
